Account for the interval before customers pay

A booking deposit, completed shoot and paid final invoice are different points in the project. Use those stages to explain when the business needs cash and when it expects receipts.

01

Production equipment

Camera bodies, lenses and lighting may need compatible accessories and storage. Compare the full purchase cost with hire requirements for the work already booked.

02

Studio improvements

Backdrops, electrical work and shooting-space changes can affect studio availability. Include installation and the time the space cannot be hired or used.

03

Project expenses

Location fees, assistants and travel can be committed before the client pays the balance. Separate deposits already received from the remaining cost of delivering the shoot.

Information for business owners

Points to review before starting

What should I understand about provider referrals?

The referral process involves selling submitted application information to funding partners, with no more than five receiving one request. We receive partner payments whether the request is funded or not and impose no application charge on you.

How does a provider decide?

The requested amount expresses what the business wants to explore. It is not an approved amount, and a funding partner may offer different terms or no financing at all.

Why can request timelines differ?

Submission and receipt of funds are different stages. Any timeline must be confirmed with the funding provider after it has reviewed the request.

How do contact preferences affect the request?

Read the disclosures presented with the application rather than relying only on this page. Submission includes a separate contact-consent review and a mobile verification step.
